Mr. Dodge graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honors from Michigan State University – East Lansing and received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from John Marshall Law School – Chicago. Mr. Dodge has studied comparative Criminal Justice and Political Science issues at several Universities and Law Schools throughout Ukraine, with a focus on transitional Criminal Justice issues facing former Soviet countries in their quest for Democracy. Mr. Dodge has also studied comparative Criminal Justice and International law issues at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. While attending law school in Chicago, IL, Mr. Dodge worked for the Cook County State’s Attorney Office and conducted both misdemeanor and felony trials while still a law school student. Following law school, Mr. Dodge returned to West Michigan and joined the family practice. Mr. Dodge focuses his practice exclusively in the area of criminal defense law. Mr. Dodge represents clients in both misdemeanor and felony cases. He has handled both State and Federal criminal cases in several courts throughout the State of Michigan. Mr. Dodge has been involved in extensive training in the increasingly specialized area of Drunk Driving law. Mr. Dodge is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan, the U.S. District Court, Western District of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
